Any opinions for a good chassis dyno near (within 4 hours) of Pittsburgh, PA? I'm looking to put a final tune on my car this summer.

Thanks!

We are having a dyno day here at our dealership in Marysville, Ohio.  If you look up the www.hondamarysville.com it will give you directions here, I think it is only 2 or so hours away.  It's on the 19th of April, I can't remember what they charge but they do 3 pulls.

Thanks a lot guys. Has anyone put a carburetor car on a dyno before? Do dyno shops usually get into tuning carbs while the car is there? That's really what I'm going for.

Yep

Called up the speed shop and told them my engine size, cam and carb specs, they ordered the kit for the carb and spent 5 hours with my car on the Dyno tuning the carb. Some shops will even recurve the distributor as well so make sure you ask.

Hope this helps.

Did you read the review on that site? It is hilarious. here it is:

"I'm returning this piece of junk...I bought it to accurately gauge how much horsepower I gained from the 2" lift and 32" tires I put on my Wrangler, but it doesn't work. I installed it on my seat, just like the instructions said, but in all my excitement while flooring it, I farted (a little squirty, I admit) and the thing shorted out and gave me a nasty little shock on my posterior. WTF? A little butt gravy and the thing goes FUBAR? There should be some kind of warning on it! I want my money back!"

http://www.hutterperformance.com/default.aspx These guys seem to be pretty good and were friendly but, man... what's up with every dyno place I find being all about the bow-tie? I wonder if it makes any difference?

I would definitely talk to them and make sure the tuner is comfortable with your motor, cam and carb setup. They will also have to order a carb kit for your tuning session.

FYI if your car has never been on a Dyno they will need to install a O2 Bung in the exhaust so they can watch and the computer can record the air fuel ratio. (Extra cost is usually 20 or 30 bucks)
