Most of the bodywork is finnally done. Car has been epoxy primed dissasembled . Finishing scratches ,and rear valance mod to fill bumperette slots.

Was thinking of inferno red , but what type of paint?  I have painted two cars with acrilic enamel. One good ,one fair.

How dose Urathane  compare?

If the paint looks good can you clearcoat these to get that wet look?

Inferno red is base/clear, will it be the same color in enamel?

The only way Id recommend going for a novice with a high pearl , high metallic color like Inferno Red would be base/clear .....and even then its going to be a more difficult color to spray with minimal experience.
68 Charger R/t white with black v/t and red tailstripe. 440 4 speed ,black interior
68 383 auto with a/c and power windows. Now 440 4 speed jj1 gold black interior .
My Charger is a hybrid car, it burns gas and rubber............

Urethane is tougher for a novice to spray well than enamel.  But it's so damn durable that it still seems worth it to try to pull it off IMHO.

I'd rather have a more durable paint with a few runs or some extra wet-sanding, as opposed to having the paint being compromised years earlier in the long run.

How about flame red ? Not a pearlcoat or metalic . Appears to be a simple color.
