I know its been discussed before but I ready for my engine install I have a 500 horsepower indy headed 440 that I planned on using with my stock 727 any thoughts or concerns?

I imagine they will have more questions for you on your build, like stall, gearing, etc....
Life isn't Father Knows Best anymore, it's a kick in the face on a saturday night with a steel toed grip kodiak work boot and a trip to the hospital all bloodied and bashed.....for reconstructive surgery. But, what doesn't kill us, makes us stronger, right?

I have a 8 3/4 with 355's but the stall and tranny were left up in th eair. Indy recommended a 2800-3200 stall

A basically stock 727 with good quality friction material should withstand 500hp but some basic mods like a good reprogramming kit would increase the longevity.
