71 side stripes

I was wondering what all the factory stock side stripes looked like(pics would be awesome) for a 71? found out mine came with them and would like to see what it' supposed to look like. V4Y - Gold canopy vinyl roof, Gold body side stripes

If we are talking about R/T stripes as far I know all were black.

first year for some color option diff than black was 73

it is not an r/t. base model but i recently got my fender tag decoded and was curious to what it might look.

My 72 parts Charger, original paint, 72k miles. Pretty sure these were the same stripes for 71.

Might that be a gy8 gold metallic car?

That's what the broadcast sheet said but another member says Y4 gold

That looks like the same color as my car. The paint under the black paint on my car has the same color

that's GY8 same as my Road Runner.. those "Pin" stripes were painted on back then.

By any chance you be willing to part those wheel well chrome? If they fit a 71.

They were all damaged, I tossed them. The car sat in a garage parking lot for 14+ years. He raked one side with a snow plow and cleaned the wheel well trim right off. 71 & 72 will interchange.
Keep an eye on C/L and ebay. At Carlisle this year I bought some used trim pieces for my 68. Some guy had installed all new trim on his 68 and was selling the used stuff cheap.
