Motor and Trans done.... what else is needed to get it in the car?

The 440 and 727 are done, I have the radiator for it, alternator, starter, power stearing pump, water pump, K frame, torsion bars off of an 1967 charger 383 car (will these work). We are leaving the 8 1/4 rear end in it until next fall. What else do i need to complete the conversion?

Drive shaft could become an issue with a 727 and 8 1/4.

Just don't beat on the car too hard or else you'll kill the 8 1/4.

I think you were converting from a 318?

Motor mounts,brakets,bolts.

headers/exhuast manifolds/dual exhuast.

oil/trans dipsticks

Wire - big block distributor is farther from firewall, good time to upgrade alt. wiring

fan /shroud

440 accessory brakets are all differrent.

differrent driveshaft

hoses/belts

440's like 3/8 fuel line

healthy battery/cables so 440 will start when hot- consider mini starter, they work great
