Lookie, big bowls of rice! I think I see a few weevil's in there, too. :D

The Aquamax...yes, this bike spent 2 nights underwater one weekend. (Not my doing), but it gained the name, and has since become pseudo-famous. :)

all them cars ..not sold & still making them ..... there is no way they are going to move that lot .... lets face it modern cars are way too expensive for what they are ... & are scrap in 10 - 15 years ..... the motor industry should not be so greedy & dealers should sell them off for half price  or less  :yesnod: will also help to get the old beater cars off the road :yesnod:
i know this is just raw materials but each car no mater what  costs a bout 2500 hundred dollars in  materials  ,     ok sorry guys rant over :P

I guess maybe they thought the economy was going to come back around and they didn't want to do any layoffs. They also may have been hoping the big three would die soon.

You are getting deals at the dealerships on new cars.  They're already money losers,  for the manufacturer and the dealer,  they may make part of it up in finance.  I've been doing this 20 years and regret almost every minute of it now.  Used car dept is a slightly different story, but KBB and knowledgeable consumers using cars.com, autotrader.com etc are no longer getting smoked on trading it in or buying it.

Some of the local dealerships in my area were running specials last week.  I could of gotten a brand new '09 Dodge pickup with the non-Hemi V8 in 4x2 with 4 full size doors out the door for $22,000.

Let me tell ya, that was a real hard to walk away from.  But I'm determined to pay off the house first.

Besides, my '98 Dodge Sport 4x4 ain't dead yet!   :2thumbs:

Prices on new cars ridiculous. There's so many families that drive 20-30 year old beaters (NOT classics) just pure beaters that are rusted beyond repair and they drive them cause they can't afford to buy anything new.

Just a thought for those against new car prices, just remember..... without "new cars", there won't be as many "used cars" to buy either....and used car prices will eventually go up.  :scratchchin:

:yesnod:  yeah your right :yesnod: true enough  :2thumbs:   :yesnod:
still don't justify the price of new cars though .... got to be one of the legal-est cons of going if you ask me  :yesnod:
no offence ment to any car dealers , but you buy a new one out the show room ,  sales man says ... this new model . got every option .... abs etc  , best thing since the invention of the wheel ... blah blah :blahblah:  ....... your in luck i have only one or two left , as they are selling like wildfire  :yesnod:
& his just going to cut you a super deal  :yesnod: , you drive away in the said new car , thinking   ..... come next year , or two years time , you have looked after the car & its still in mint condition , go to trade it in , the exact same sales man says  :rotz: ,  can't offer you no where near what you want , against a new model ,  i have soo many in the inventory , no one wants these models now as , never were a good seller when new !!!!  it has not got the ..latest wheels ..colors etc etc , so you do a trade in , dealer gives you 5000 dollars , & you go away thinking . ;)  well he done me a good deal , next week you drive past the same dealer & your car is up for 10 thousand  :icon_smile_blackeye: :rotz:
i'm exaggerating now ..with this but .... every one has got to make a living   :yesnod: ........
no offence ment to any car dealers .... just saying  what i see
:shruggy:

don't even know what i'm trying to say either here now , got a bit side tracked :yesnod:  :coocoo:
