I have a set of torsion bars from a 1967 charger 383 car.... will these work with my 440 conversion? It seems that if they were used in a big block car they should be able to work for this application.

if i remeber right they were the smaller .88 bars for the 383 cars - hemis and 440s for .92 bars...    will these work ?   year - however do not expect stellar handling

Sure they'll work.  Given the age you'll likely have to crank them up a little but it shouldn't be too bad unless they're really tired.
