I can't help you on a cheaper source but if you want my unsolicited opinion on whether any other tips would look good... I think you'd be hard pressed to find a better looking tip for the back of those 3rd gen Chargers than the machine guns.  Good luck in your search Foreman and I hope you find a pair in your budget because they really set the rear of the car off nicely.  :shruggy:

Oh, you mean the Bazooka exhaust tips? Those things are some of the best designed items ever made! I want to get a set for my Firebird( Yes, I know, Mopar items on a GM sounds odd)..

Don't really have a solution... Never seen the slotted tips for less than $250 unless they were old and very used, and even then they want almost the same price as new ones.  But I have seen a lot of 3rd gens with just plain aftermarket chrome tips.  If you find something of similar size and shape, it looks alright.  Most the people checking out your car won't know what it's missing, just us Mopar fanatics. :icon_smile_big:

Eric, I would go with some nice 2 1/2 or 3 inch tips, like the Bazooka exhaust tips, but without the slots, or, I am sure you could make your own Bazooka tips, shouldn't be too hard..

But I HATE Chevy's, except the 1971 Camaro RS Z/28, you have to admit that is a nice car.. Before I was known here as BIRD67 I was AC/DC Charger, but I was a complete douche, so now I am a changed man!

If the black inserts come out, you could paint them in that same color used on the original's/repo's or just leave them black. they look similar to what your looking for.
