What should I do? Use loctite on the bolts that hold the rocker assemblies down or not? Also, what do I need to torque them to?

Thanks!

RD

dont use loctite.  i have not used loctite on any of my rocker arm bolts and they have never come loose.  matter of fact, i lube this with a jot of oil before installing them.

if my memory is correct, its 25 or 35 ft lbs. ??? cant remember and my books are in the garage.

The correct tq value is 25 ftlbs.  :yesnod:

Jackson, when you install the shafts make sure that the oil holes are facing down and "out" towards the headers....not "in" and towards the intake manifold. If they're facing in simply flip the shafts around, end to end.

Thanks guys for the information. I just got back into town, but as soon as I check the holes on the rocker shafts I guess I'm ready to bolt the rest of it together.

One more thing . . .

On my lower timing gear there are marks with o, +4, and -4. I put it on the o one because that seems to be standard, but is there any reason for me to put it on the +4 or -4 markings?
