late model injected hemi into a 68 charger?? what is needed??

hello i am asking what is needed to install a late model injected 5.7  hemi and auto(300c, charger,etc)  into a 68 charger has any one done this, what is required, what is needed to  modify to make it  fit , i have a 318 small block  k frame do i need to change?? does any one make engine mounts to suit? the car is under going a restoration, any pics,any info or links would help

It will be tough putting the factory auto trans in your car but, luckily, the new Hemi has the same trans bolt pattern as all the other Mopar small blocks so you can choose from most of the older transmissions.

Autodynamics, member here, also has a 6.1 Hemi in his 69 Charger. Do a search for his posts. This should get you started:

thank you  traoy for the info the 6.1 in the 69 of autodymanics is a sweet thing
as i am in asutralia info is a little hard to come by as no one has done this sort of engine swap, i have a new 5.7 hemi on its way , i found out i need tti engine mounts and headers, do the engine mounts fit to the standed ones?? :shruggy:   do i need to change the sump and pick up, :shruggy:?? i read also the starter motor about the size ?? what else , i have read a few engine swaps on this forum  but also i need an ecu to run the engine when i recieve the engine , is there any one i can contact and chat or email over the engine install when this all takes place, i am keeping the original auto as you mentioned  it bolts straight up to the 5.7,
i have emailed autodynamics  , no reply as of yet busy driving the new toy lucky boy

in all honesty the swap is not THAT difficult - just ask around - I am doing the swap as well but I get most of my info from Pete    :2thumbs:
