A guy found me an a833 OD  in a junk yard The junk yard owner said it was from a truck or van. I have not seen the trans, but would that have a long B-body tailshaft?  The guy said it had only one shifter location on it, would that be a-body? or did all the truck a833 fit b-bodys? :shruggy:

I believe all the van and truck 833's had the long tail shaft and the one mounting location should be the standard B-body location

It might be an aluminum case OD one.

No its cast, will big output shaft, they do have two aluminum ones there but smaller outputs :shruggy:
