        Hey guys,

When is it considered "correct" to have a dual snorkel air cleaner on a 69 Charger? Is it coded anywhere on the build sheet? Is a dual snorkel air cleaner considered correct for a 1969 Charger with factory A/C  and a 440 engine?

Didn't Canadian cars after 1971 have those too? :shruggy:

N97 will only be found on the broadcast sheet.

...and window sticker if it is present.

Look on line 9 of the broadcast sheet, the next to last box on the right. The box has no column heading and is to the right of N88. See if there is a 7 in the box. That indicates N97.
Seeking information on '69 St. Louis plant VINs, SPDs and VONs. Buld sheets and tag pictures appreciated. Over 3,000 on file thanks to people like you.

:iagree:

There is no actual spot for the N97 code on the 69 sheet.  Like Doug stated there will be a 7 in a "blank" box.

Unrestored 69 engine compt  N97 & A/C

PS---just noticed something interesting.  When equipped with cruise control & a tach, the tach wire is moved up on the firewall to an upper dimple.  The cruise control wire takes over the normal tach wire spot..... Interesting
