Do I need some specification to get an oil pressure sender, gauge kind ?

i think most senders are universal....but if you have a specific aftermarket gauge, i'd stick to whatever they recommend for it

that should be a standard parts store item as far as i know.......just tell them you need an oil sending unit for a 73 charger.....

haha, if I say that, will sell me the lights kind, because none charger was asssemblied with rallye cluster. Anyway is not for me, is for a buddy what is converting to rallye cluster. I got mine from a donor engine what it had already the gauge sender kind.

I saved that sender LOOOONG time ago, before ever think on change to rallye cluster. I don't know why I saved that but the fact is I did and thanks God I did!.

Be careful, there are two different canister style gauge senders, one is for a 100 psi guage and the other is for an 80 psi guage, the wrong one will make the guage innacurate.

Is there a visual way to determine the difference John?

thats why I ws asking. How I can tell if some exterior difference. I guess the one I should get is 80 psi right?
