Ive got a 440 here I'm thinking about selling. I bought it about 5 years ago with intentions on putting it in the Charger, but its looking like that's not gonna happen any time soon so I figgered I just might as well sell it. Here's what I know about it. It was supposed to have came out of a '69 Winnebago that caught fire several years ago. I was told the motor didn't have but approx. 70k on it when it was parked.  The motor been completely torn down and ready to be rebuilt. Ive got a new Thermo Quad carb, Distributor, Mopar 474 lift Cam and lifter set, air cleaner and valve covers that will go with it. The motor would turn over before it was taken apart, but we never tried to start it. Ive got the motor stored at a buddy's shop at the moment and as soon as I can get by there Ill grab the numbers off of it and we can definitely find out for sure what it is.
The transmission I'm not sure what it came out of or year it is but it has been completely rebuilt and has the new torque converter still in the box. I can go out there tomorrow and get the numbers off of the trans and maybe some of you guys will know what it came out of.
So what would the whole package deal be worth? :shruggy:
Thanks for any input guys

there is a 76 motorhome 440 torn down to be rebuilt and a 833 rebuilt 4 speed here local the guy is asking $500 for. i may go look at it this weekend, i surely don't need another 440, but it would be nice to have a rebuilt 833 laying around. not sure how much more a 69 440 motorhome motor is over a 76, but that was a example for reference for you.
