Wheel cylinder rods?

This may be a stupid question, but . . .

I got new rear wheel cylinders and noticed that they did not come with the little rod things that come out of the ends and push on the brake shoes? Looking on RockAuto now, none of the pictures show them with these rods. The problem is, I don't have any old ones to pull out and re-use. What's up with this? Do people generally re-use these? I thought they were part of the wheel cylinder. Where can I get some more?

I've never bought a wheel cylinder with them. I think most parts stores have/can get them though.

Wheel Cylinder Pins they call them....3 bucks each or so.

They ARE a reusable part. Did you shit can yours??  Bad move. Never toss anything till you have reassembled your project.

I never had to hunt them down. I would start with a parts store or dealer.

Then don't toss any good parts out.

You can get a rebuild kit from autozone, but yeah they are reusable I don't know if thr front would be the same as the rear if so I may still have mine. You can have them if I still have them (I did a disk brake conversion)

I didn't have any to start with in the back. I can get the ones from the front if they would work . . . I converted to discs too.

I used the ones from the front, no problem.
