FUEL TANK EXSPOSED ?????

I'm just mocking up my car making sure everything is in place before it goes into paint and just temp installed fuel tank , I'm amazed on how much of the tank is visible when you stand behind car . With any other B-body you wont see the tank because the charger is the only B-body with rear valence rather than a Bumper .

Yes it shows pretty good, specially if car is a little "ass high". Have seen some that extend the rear valance, to cover more of it, and run exhaust out through holes in valance, but i dont like it. Lower the car Larry!!!

We considered reworking the trunk floor , and we are running the factory style ex tip through valence . This is going to look good , I made a sleeve that will be welded in valence complete with radius edges .

That will be nice, it is the extended valance deal i don´t like!  I am going kinda halfway, with app 5x2,5 rectangular tips in a "groove" halfway up in the valance.

I've always looked at it as one of the 2nd gen Charger's distinguishing features.  Obviously that doesn't mean everybody else likes it too of course.  I wouldn't want to see a real deep one hanging down there either, so to each his own.
I thought you had already completed the valence Larry?

We just reworked rear bumper , cut the ends to bring them in and deleted bolts and also moved bumper closer to rear valence and painting bumper Body color . The valence cut is late today or tomorrow .
