Many of ya'll might remember the "Hammer" built by Steve Strope at Pure Vision Design a couple years ago...

Well, while I was browsing around today I stumbled across this.  It's a Chevy Nova that's been dubbed "Notorious", and it's stunning.  It looks somewhat inspired by, or at least similar to the "Hammer".

It has a supercharged 572 crate motor and it's running on E85.  If you're interested, the owner's son posted more pics and details on another forum.  You can see see of the intricate details and cool custom touches done on this car in the pics.  Hope you like it, I do!

The similarities do seem strong don't they?

I'd say it's an effort to exactly duplicate the mopar.  Not at all a suprise, because most chevy guys are incapable of unique creative thought or work.  Chevy guys need the comfort of the group and feel very out of sorts when alone.  They must have constant acceptance by their equally moronic chevy peers.  I understand that at Chevy club meetings they sit around and rub eachother's head and tell eachother things like "No, it's awesome that you did a crate 350.  Crate 350's are so cool."  See what I mean - them chevy guys are totally lame.  :hah:  :smilielol:

I read about this thing in PHR. It is a sweet Nova, and a cool car all around. Of course I am a little biased since Novas are one of the 2 Chevy models I would ever drive.

Maybe a bit of a copy... :scratchchin:

H ha... That's classic!  :yesnod:
Even the Chevelle guys laugh at the Nova. The car looks clean, I'll give it that.

Ummm not really unless you're referring to Corvette Guys  ::)  :brickwall:
But at least my Chevelles run and make to and from where I take them too.  Alot more than I can say for the Charger that breaks down everytime I take it more than 20 miles away with it's primitive and horribly designed electrical system.  The only thing worse is Lucas wiring.
And FYI, Crate 350's are overpriced junk.  I build my own engines cheaper and bette.

Its a nice looking car.

C'mon a classic car is a classic car, muscle or just a grocery getter its a piece of history. Just because some owners make themselves out to be a$$es dont mean the rest of em are. I dont care weather its a dodge, chevy, ford, AMX...ect..i give them all credit...am i partial to chargers? Of course but that dont mean there the best. When i go to a show of course i look for chargers, but that dont mean i just shun the rest of em. Ive met some charger owners who have there head stuck up there @$$...sitting in front of there car thinking "i have the best whats the point of looking around at other cars" then when you go to ask them a question about the car and they open there mouth you wish you never had asked that question. Then in the same day ive met some really nice vette owners, who were more then welcome to sit and chat a bit...then when your done talking about there car...they do the nice thing and walk over to yours with you and chat some more (granted by no means is it required, but sure is nice).

My 2 cents

:2thumbs:

Gotta say though, everyone ive met on the forum so far have been great!

I completely agree that all classic cars are cool.  A good point was brought up, in that it's the cars that are cool regardless of what kind of person the owner is.

I like to have a little fun (on a Mopar site) with the way Chevy guys rub eachother's heads and talking up crate 350's.  I've heard a lot of smack from the chevy gang over the years, and it's fun to poke back at them once in a while.   ;D

That's how I read it from you too Dave although I also entirely understand Tom.  I'm like the sole Mopar guy in an all Ford show and I take crap from them and the handful of Chevy guys in my hometown all the time.  It's all in fun but it becomes tiring sometimes too so it's nice to throw a snowball back at their fort every now and again.
