This Daytona was in a shed about 5 miles from my house.

I'm in southern Illinois, near St. Louis.

It appears to have been in this shed for a long time, but it was only there for about

5 years.

I know the guy that owned it at the time.

He bought it cheap in the '90s and when the money for these cars got

stupid... he sold it.

The guy who paid big bucks for it ultimately took quite a loss on it.

He had sandblasted it and primed it black.

It looked much better in the old red paint, sitting in that old wooden shed.

I'm talking to my friend who told me the story.  I will send him the picture of the car to see if it is the same.

Any more pics?

Thanks

That car is in New York state now.

Thank you for the pictures.  I will forward them on to my friend to see if it is the same car.

That would be just my luck.  I guess I can't go find 2 Daytonas in 2 months... oh well.

I've got some more stories to follow up on.
