Are Big Block and Small Block Flywheels the same?

I have an interally balanced 383, and the guy who I want to dyno the engine with only has a SB flywheel.

Assuming his SB flywheel is neutral balanced, will it bolt up? Again this would just be for the dyno session.

Yes, I believe that it will bolt up.

All '62 and later V8 flywheels will interchange as long as the bellhousing matches the ring gear diameter.

Excluding of course 8 bolt and externally balanced.
