Today was pretty awesome, as I spent the day getting the little things that never ever work on an old car to work...

the Scow now has fully functioning:

windshield wipers and fluid squirters
a maplight
all vent fan and heater functions
doorjamb thingies
all dashlights
all turn signals including the hood

domelight
all brakelights
hi and low beams
horn
reverse lights dash and rear valance
all gauges
glovebox light
cigarette lighter!
license plate light

I do not know why but I feel like a major victory has occurred. I have never  ever owned a vintage car that had all this stuff working before!

I know what you mean.  All the things that should work seem to be just so cool when we get them to work.   :2thumbs:

Why would you want anything else?  Just give me a Charger and I'll be happy.

It's worth being proud of.

Lotsa cars in this hobby with 500 hp and no defrost vents.

" and heater functions " This alone makes you a super star.  Great work.
This car was sold many years ago to somebody in Wisconsin. I now am retired and living in Florida.

Life isn't Father Knows Best anymore, it's a kick in the face on a saturday night with a steel toed grip kodiak work boot and a trip to the hospital all bloodied and bashed.....for reconstructive surgery. But, what doesn't kill us, makes us stronger, right?
