For my '69 Charger? I don't want Fiberglass and I also don't want to buy the "wrong" brand and deal with all sorts of alignment issues..

Who out there can I trust??

Thanks

Just a heads-up about repro panels -

In most cases there will only be one company making a given panel for these cars.

The tooling costs are so much that once one company tools up a major panel, usually nobody else will do it to compete.  You might find the panel listed for sale by half a dozen different places, but they'll all usually be redistributing the same item from the same factory.  There might be several companies doing the same part if you count the smaller patch panels, but it's rare to find two different factories producing the exact same item with seams stopping in the same places.

There have been some recent exceptions with AMD and CBD (Classic Body Designs) both making some "full" quarter panels, and some of AMD's stuff is starting to overlap some floorpan parts being made already.  But in general this rule applies to most medium and large panels on the market.

AMD is the newest on the market but their quality has been sounding great.  At the rate they're putting out parts, they seem to be on a mission to reproduce the entire '68-69 B-bodies & 70-71 E-bodies one piece at a time.

CBD is a smaller operation that's all made in the USA (and is priced to match unfortunately), but the quality of their items seems great too.  And the raw-material sheetmetal that CBD's using is the best of any reproduction part I've ever seen.  I've handled it myself, and it literally did not feel ANY thinner or more flexible than the original 1960s metal.

Goodmark has been the traditional "big panel" maker for these cars, and for a couple of decades until recently they were the only ones.  Their stuff has been around longer and is generally below AMD and CBD's stuff.  But it's also cheaper.
