Regarding nail pops and roof moss.

With nail pops do you generally drive the nail back in prior to the sheetrock/texture repair or take it out?

I need to remove some moss off the north side roof of my house and find something to prevent its return. How do you remove it without screwing up your shingles and what can you use to keep it from coming back? I've heard that zinc strips don't work too well.

Oxygen bleach to clean it and Copper strips to keep it away.
Life isn't Father Knows Best anymore, it's a kick in the face on a saturday night with a steel toed grip kodiak work boot and a trip to the hospital all bloodied and bashed.....for reconstructive surgery. But, what doesn't kill us, makes us stronger, right?

If the nail popped once, it'll likely pop again.

Take it out and put a drywall screw nearby but not in the same hole.
