I was at a customers house talking cars the other day when he said he had a rearend he didn't need or want and said take it for a tip, brand new still in the box, but was 2 years old. never installed. turns out it is a 489 from randy's ring and pinion, yukon 3.23 gears with a mini-spool. what's this thing worth?

MOPARHOUND!

That's a heck of a "tip"!!!

Not a fan of mini-spools, but can't beat the price!

*Speed costs money son, how fast do you want to go, and for how long?"
*"Build the biggest engine you can afford the first time."
*"We normally wouldn't use a 383 for this build, parts and labor for a 440 cost the same."

Hmmmm. A mini-spool and 3.23 gears....a somewhat strange combo.
Pardon me but my karma just ran over your dogma.

Yeah you would think it would have at least 410's if not lower.  What a great deal though!
