Anybody see a picture of one of Pete Townsend's Fender Stratocasters?
It's got an extra knob, just behing the bridge - and I don't know why...

The extra knob is used to blend in the pickup, creating a range of sounds from 100% acoustic to electric. This was fitted by a chap called Gordon Wells, who lives and works in Surrey..."

I've always thought the original "Vanishing Point" movie needed a big loud Who song in there somewhere.  Picture Kowalski blasting through some huge western landscape the size of a Coyote/Roadrunner cartoon, with "Won't get Fooled Again" or "Baba O'Riley" playing loud as hell . . .
