cheapest MP Dist source ( with vacuum )

Today going to the beach, my dist broke out!!! apparently housing bushings ( that I had to make on a machine shop locally since never found a kit to replace those ) melted down and welded to the dist shaft. Dist Shaft end bent and in fact when got stuck, did hit the MSD coil ( lucky, still working but got a dent... damn! is the chromed one! ).

so, WHAT'S THE cheaper source for it IYHO ?

I can make a search and will do but maybe you have an option.

The funny here is that when I was at Carlisle I was thinking on buy one and dunno why I didn't proceed  !!!!

look up pro comp. Not sure if the do mopar. Their ford/chev stuff works good and they are less $$ than the big names.

The cheapest would be a wrecking yard or craigslist for a used one.....then if needed, you could swap parts from yours into it....
I may have one laying around that you can have.

well I'm more talking about a MP new unit... what will be the cheaper seller around... by now is Summit.

or and used one but Mopar performance, not the stock one... I can rebuild one stock down here.

Uhmmm....ok....
The only real difference between a new MP and an old , original unit is the advance curve....and that's easy to change.....
But since you gotta have a new one, try Napa or Pep Boys and just change the springs. But that means taking it apart to do it.....

advance curve as far I know and state on description is variable by  bushing setups, so is an easy change beside mod a stock one... at least thats my understanding.

If you can change the setup easily, I can get play with every option. Modify a stock one is probably a non return modification... i think

sorry if I'm wrong on what I said but I'm not an expert on advances curves or anything like that. Have to study about.

At least will came with everything to change the curves... springs or anything needed to make that are not available here anyway.
