I used rpm heads, rpm intake, eps 800 carb/ 1-7/8 headers /auto/ stock 11 inch converter/on a 446 street build. Used Lunati 60303 cam . Works well together. Sounds good idling , 10-12 inches of vacume at idle. 12 mpg. on pump gas.
I did not know they made top end kits for Mopars untill after I did the engine.

The RPM cam is a slow/lazy grind with lots of duration and modest lift....something in the 225-230* @.050 valve lift would be a better choice. Engle and Lunati have some nice modern grinds that will idle better and make more usable power in the area you need it.

I looked on the Engle web sight and found these two K-56, K-58. Seeing where you recommend the K-56 often. would this be your choice for the  Edd. heads stock piston .03 over 440? Thanks Dierk

It depends on the compression and stall speed. With 10:1 the K58 will work nice but it will want ~ 2800 stall speed to be most effective. The K56 works good with stock or slightly over stock stall and 9:1 or more compression.

Ron
Thanks for the help. I didn't mean to take over metcoll posts, just it is the exact set up I want to go with. I have the purple .484 and I'm very disappointed in how the car runes. Even considering changing the cam be for getting the heads. Would I notice much change in just changing cams?
