placed my refurbished gauges in car - they really look nice - hooked up the battery and the clock was working - went to turn car on and clock stop working - i hope the other gauges are still good - not sure what happened - placed all connections in the right places - frustrated as hell right now - i can't imagine taking out the gauges again - what a pain - any suggestions????

Check to make sure you still have power to the clock with the key on.

It's not a midlife crisis, it's my second adolescence.

Did the clock get a rebuilt job too ?

clock is being feeded allways and directly from ammeter stud through a direct wire, no need for key ( wouldn't make sense need to have power from key ), and no linked with the rest of gauges. It does have life by itself just like the ammeter.

yes probably got burned, specifically the internal solenoid coil due the solenoid points got stuck ( my own experience )

fixable?... yes. How hard ? depend of you habilities on electrician stuff, but still no guarantee that won't burnt again.

I tried to fix one clock 5 or 7 times  and allways got burnt again in a few days, untill I gave up and got another clock
