SO, I'm getting ready to have exhaust pipe installed.  But there is apparently only ONE shop in the Northwest that does Mandrel bends!!  Stan's Headers & Exhaust..  And they want a mint...  I have Dynomax Ultraflo's already, going for a 2.5" setup.

They quoted me $930 with an H-pipe!  Using my mufflers?!

I got a quote from the local Walts for $300.  I've had good results with Walts in the past...

I know some people use the Summit kit, but those are from Headers back...

I had my Pontiac done at Walts years ago....complete duals from manifolds back for $300...very happy with the looks and quality

:iagree: if money isn't an option go with TTI you won't find a better fitting exhaust for mopars then from them. great quality work i have there full exhaust and couldn't be happier. it's worth the extra money since your already half way  or more there in price by getting it custom made.

This is True.

I had always thought TTI was too much for me though, and even so, It's still alot.  I just spent double on my mufflers, than if I'd gotten their kit.   :pity:

Something to think about though..   :scratchchin:

Is it pretty simple to install by your self, maybe with an extra set of hands?  Looks like all the hardware is included.

charger2fast4u

yea it's pretty easy to do i did it by myself. but it's always better to have another hand help out it comes with all mounting hardware and took me about 3 hours to install with some breaks here and there during installation

the people at TTI are great to deal with - that price is for "with mufflers" -  just tell them you already have fidderednt mufflers so you'd like to price to reflect "no mufflers" - see if they drop it by $100 or $150...        never hurts to ask     :2thumbs:

Here in Idaho we have a local muffler shop do our exhaust work. (standard exhaust tubing bender) We have a 73 440 Challenger with a complete 3" exhaust system including an x pipe for much less than what you have been quoted. This Challenger has run 12.02 in the 1/4 with full exhaust. He also drives the car around town almost daily with no trouble as of yet from the local law enforcement. The car is loud as compared to a new car, but still sounds good. My point is unless you are racing or making a huge amount of power the extra expense of mandrel bent tubes are not necessary. Grumpy
