This guy is not a happy customer...apparently.

The Aquamax...yes, this bike spent 2 nights underwater one weekend. (Not my doing), but it gained the name, and has since become pseudo-famous. :)

That is one truly pissed off guy. Good for him. Fight the power. With the bad PR this guy is giving the dealership they will wish they had just replaced the truck.

WOW that must be the dealer though?  Around here NO dealer would have a truck like that out there.  I have a friend who after 3 trips into the GM dealer replaced his truck.....  They did the right thing.....

He should make a youtube video for the world to see with extra commentary.

there is a guy that destroyed his apple notebook and put it on youtube

Apple gave him a new notebook and other stuff to get him to remove it.

Companies don't like bad publicity, especial when it goes around the world.

Funny how much approval this story gets when we're venting frustration at dealerships.

Funny how little approval the same story would get on a thread about Jap/Detroit vehicle quality perceptions.

Nothing against them in that way! I just like the C/K generation, and the fact that full Cummins fit in them nicely. :punkrocka:

GM makes some great 300K motors, but I don't trust the vehicle that comes wrapped around them to last more than 150K.

You can dump $3000 into fixing power window & dashboard light & cooling system failures just as easily as putting a replacement short-block under the hood.

Although I will say, the fullsize trucks are the best thing GM makes for longevity.  If they'd also put that much effort into their smaller FWD sedans for the last 25 years then GM wouldn't be in so much economic trouble now.

I would do the same thing in his position...  Im really getting tired of businesses thinking the customer service stops once they have your cash in their pocket.  At least he is trying to let people know about the problem.  99% of the people probably just bend over and take it.

Mike DC

The way it's lettered-up now, I think I'd just leave that thing legally parked on the street somewhere right in front of the dealership for 7 days a week.

The dealership would probably rethink how they've dealt with his situation on about day #3.

Vehicles are hit or miss when it comes to lemons.

I bought a 300C almost 2 years ago and have only one small problem which took the dealer two hours to repair.
A friend of mine bought the same exact car (even the same color) from the same dealer two weeks after I bought mine and has had nothing but problems with the car and still has problems with it to this day.

Each time one thing gets fixed it seems something else goes wrong. So far the warranty has covered everything but its damn annoying to have to keep taking it back to be fixed.  Probably the most disturbing part is that his motor sounds like a diesel motor, obviously something is wrong with the valve train. Dealer says they all sound that way and will not work on the problem.

Lemon laws are subjective to the problem with the vehicle and a reasonable number of attempts to fix it.
Obviously if the brakes or safety feature keeps failing after more than a few attempts to repair then it can be declared a lemon.
In the end its up to the dealer to give up on trying to repair the car to declare it a lemon and replace it or give you your money back.

Of course there is the lawyer and law suit route.
