Hi

If anyone has 28" tall tyres on the back of their 68-70 Charger, would like a side shot of the vehicle to get an idea how tall it looks.

Im thinking of the 29" tall tyres that have the correct width im after but dunno if that will look dumb or not (too much side wall). If it does then I will have to sacrifice width to keep it within the nice looking height.

If anyone has 29" tall tyres on the rear of the 68-70 charger, side photo please. Would like an idea how it looks.

No Angle Shot - Perfect Side On View IN THE SUN so that the photo doesnt turn out dark around the wheels making it "hard to see" whats happening.

Please specify in your reply the size tyre you are running.

Thanks guys.

I have 28 inch tires on the back of mine and they fit just fine. Don't have a picture here at work but I ran 28x11.50 15 slicks on 10 inch rims with no problems.....

Here is one of mine when the car was getting picked up to be delivered to me from the previous owner.  The tires on back are Mickey Thompson ET street 29x12.5x15.  Hope the pic helps.

It came from Colorado back in early 2005.  The owner before me had it for 18+ years.

I have a few from when it looked like that.  It's looking a little different now though.

Thanks for that Guys

the 28" tall do look good.

Joshua, was yours 28 or 29? you never specified... I assume 28 since thats the standard (unless u run 295/50s which are 26 and 3 quarter?)

Would anyone have 1 of them by chance? (295/50/15)

Thanks for the 29" tall tyre... little hard to tell when its not side on. Maybe someone can dig something up for me (more 29" tall as im certain 28s are nice)

Thanks again

Yep....28"....I used to always run 295/50's, but since I swapped to 4.10's years ago, the shorter tires buzzed the engine too much...plus the taller tires just look better. I don't have pics, but I also used to run 285/60 McCreary Roadstar's, which were @ 29", they really filled out the wheelwell nice on an 8" rim...
