just wonderin? 69 & 70 same latch?

Hey all I was wondering if the hood catch (the initial latch mechanisim) that pops when you first try to open the hood is the same from 69 to 70? I am looking for that catch for a 69 model. I have a 70 one round here somewhere but cannot locate it and was wondering if it were worth tracking down or not. Thanks for taking the time to read this. Tom

I may have an extra 69 latch. Are you talking about the latch that bolts to the grill frame? Or the saftey latch that bolts to the hood?
