Hey guys,
I've got 14x6" road wheels (baby magnums) on my car.  It's got little 215-75R14's on it. I'm looking for the biggest tire I can put on these wheels so I can have a little more meat in the back.  Can anyone help me out with this?

Thanks!
Paul

215 is the right size for that rim, but you could squeeze a 225 on there if you wanted to push it to the max.

I ran a 245/60/14 on my 14x6 magnums and had no trouble.  It may not last 60k miles without wearing th center thin, but I drove it that way for 10k miles and it didn't look bad at all.

There's a right way to do things, and there's the wrong way to do things, the choice is yours  :D

I had 14x5.5" wheels and wanted to run 235/60s. At that time (the late '80s) the B.F. Goodrich charts called for a 6" wide rim for a 235/60-14. I bought a set of 14x6 rallye wheels and put the 235/60s on them. They fit great. I think, in the intervening years, Goodrich has revised their wheel/tire fitment charts. They used to show 7 to 10" rim width for 275/60-15s but have widened that recommendation to I think 8". But, all that being said, the 235s fit great and wore evenly.
