Bob

a 72 dodge motor home, low miles, 440 4bbl,
$350.00
Think I can flip it and make money? I figured scrap alone would more than pay for the whole thing.
Hmm....real good 440...hmm

my73charger

I think you could make some money on it.  I just bought a 1976 Dodge Minnie Winnie last summer with 100,000+ miles and a 360 and I paid around $2,000 for it.

Bob

I figure I could either run the 440 or sell it for about 450 and get plenty for scrap.

Coming out ahead by salvaging the engine might be somewhat risky. If the block is cracked or something else just as bad you might only break even. :shruggy:

What happens when there are no more old cars to crush?  is the price of scrap going to go to $1000 a ton?   :icon_smile_big:

Yeah? Is it going to be anything like this guy's old trailer project? http://www.cardomain.com/ride/340096/5  :D

The Aquamax...yes, this bike spent 2 nights underwater one weekend. (Not my doing), but it gained the name, and has since become pseudo-famous. :)
