I think you could make some money on it.  I just bought a 1976 Dodge Minnie Winnie last summer with 100,000+ miles and a 360 and I paid around $2,000 for it.

Coming out ahead by salvaging the engine might be somewhat risky. If the block is cracked or something else just as bad you might only break even.
