Well, it seems most everyone on this site has one, so I guess they are our 2nd favorite mode of transportation. Do you use yours daily? or has the cost of fuel made you park that Monster & buy a Neon or some other econo-box? When I'm home, I drive a 93' Ram Charger 4x4. What a gas hog! But hey, I love it! Besides keeping them parked, how are you getting better ,if any, fuel mileage? Post pics of your truck, or some of your favorites.

These were mine at one time...

The 1st one was my first Dodge ever. The '75 was a old municiple truck 360 4bbl 4spd.
Second was a '76 I got for 300.00. It was a beater with a 225ci.
Third was a '79 Plymouth Trailduster with a 318 2bbl.
Fourth was a '86 with a 360 4bbl. I still have the wheels if someone whats them.

Here is mine, patiently awaiting re-assembly.  I bought it when I was 12, taught my brother how to drive in it and drove friends all over the mountains in this beast.  I'm 31 now, and just getting her back together :-[  It has a nicely rebuilt 360 and should be tons of fun.  My wife is actually more excited about my truck getting finished than she is about my Charger :P  Hope to finish her this winter  :yesnod:

My daily driver is my 1997 dodge dakota.
Great little runner with a v6 so gas milage isn't really too much of an issue.
I was considering trading it for a v8 version but I'm patently waiting on contract negotiations to finish up at work before I do that.
For now....I love my truck and would never trade it in for a stupid little econobox.
No thanks

My first car so to speak was a 79 POWER WAGON, it was my Dad's who sold it to me in 81. I loved that thing, picture Simon & Simons rig only in tan/root beer brown. I sold it to a guy on my ship in the Navy in the late 80's, still miss it. Now, aside of my first mechanical love, the 68 R/T, I have a really fun 64 POWER WAGON, stepside, 318 Poly, 4 sp. It's a real kick in the dirt, and will dang near climb a tree...Interesting story behind it, I bought it in 89 & drove it as a work truck for abt 5 yrs, then it sat for abt 6 yrs, I sold it to one of my employees/traded labor. He parked it in a field & in 2002 said come get it cause his jerk brother in law wanted it, and would rather give it to me than sell it to him. I thanked him & drove it back home. I did promise him to supply him in Pepsi for a long time though...
