i think i remember that car when it happened that it was damaged in transport when the roof was ripped off as the car was delivered. so as they were trying to figure out what to do, a farmer pulled up and said "wow, a drop top bird. thats really different," so the boss tells the salesman to run in and hand write a build sheet with top optional and sell this car. the rest is history and stuart has his proof of an original and rare roof optional bird. :nana:
