have you seen the car in person?

looks good from the pics(even though they are blurry)...  :-\

its a 72 340 rallye so it has a pedigree

the dash frame being a different color seems odd to me  :scratchchin:

15k-17k in if its as good as it looks :2thumbs:

no i have not. I am in Iowa, and the car is in Oregon. I was thinking of flying out there, due to the uniqueness and i like how original it is, but only thing i have against it is my first choice for a 72 charger rallye is a 440 u-code matching #'s car but havent been able to find one yet, so the 340 was my next choice. I offered him $17,500, but he has only come down from $24,000 to $21,000 so we are still a good bit apart.

One of my board members, and one of my moderators on my forum own '72 Rallyes with the 340s and a air grabbers hood.

IMO<---

21k is a lot of money for that car. you definately need to fly out and look at it for that kind of money.

its really only an averagely optioned 340 rallye/ i wouldn't go >20k :Twocents:

if you are looking for a nice rallye, a member here has one for sale, 73.

:( I allways have tried to keep Paul away from this sale

About 72 rallye... Is a great car, with cool interior combo. I have seen this car before and analized with another member of the board. I think the BIN option is a little bit high. I'm agree with konigcharger about that
Venezuelan RT 74 400 4bbl, 727, 8.75 3.23 open. Now stroked with 440 crank and 3.55 SG. Here is the History and how is actually: http://www.dodgecharger.com/forum/index.php/topic,7603.0/all.html

I'm bidding on it too, so maybe I shouldn't give my opinion...

I think the price is high. Yes, it's in very good shape, but the colour combo is not super desirable. I like it because it seems original, haven't seen it in person though. This is the second time on Ebay. I talked to him after the first time and made an offer of cash plus my 72 Rallye 440 project, but it didn't go through. It will sell eventually.
