I just recently learned that if you want disc breaks on your 1969 Dodge Charger, you cant use 14" rims.

Is this true, period? Or is there some way, some how that you can have disc breaks with your 14" rims?

Please enlighten...

If you stay with the factory style 10.87 inch rotors you should be able to run 14" wheels if you goto the 11.75 inch rotors you have to goto 15" because there isn't alot of room between the caliper and the inside of the wheel.

Yep that's right - my 1973 came with disc brakes standard and 14" wheels.

Depends on the rim choice as well.... You'll never get an 11" rotor on a 14" Magnum 500, but other 14" rims may work just fine. If you can get the disc brake manufactures clearances, you can check them against your rims. Often times the manufacture can tell you as well.

terrible one

As others have said, it just depends on which rims with the 10.87.

My 14" Indy slot mag wheels would not fit with the 10.87's on my car :Twocents:
