This guy claims that his charger has the "twin deck lid gas filler" option (1 of 202). I never heard or read anything about this option and I think it's a custom thing. true?

He's tried to sell it before I'm pretty sure, in any case, we've discussed here before.  As for the dual fillers, no, it's something he's just making up.

I don't know if I would want to pay the bill to fill up my car if it had two tanks.

Here's the thread when the car was listed the last time.

Is this something that racers did back in the day so facilitate easy pits from either side? It would't matter for a dirt track race, but maybe for road racing?

I read somewhere that dual caps was in the early stages of design, but never made it to production.

It was being considered but dropped for cost reasons.  As for the racers, you see it in some of the sports car classes (think Shelby roadsters or Ferarris) but in the Charger arena  (NASCAR and so forth) they only refueled from one side.

Life isn't Father Knows Best anymore, it's a kick in the face on a saturday night with a steel toed grip kodiak work boot and a trip to the hospital all bloodied and bashed.....for reconstructive surgery. But, what doesn't kill us, makes us stronger, right?
