On Google Earth, the exact position of your place is designated by the numbers on the botton left of the image window.
Try and find my place.

My humble little abode.

You can even see my storage building, my lawn mower storage building and, in between, the green thing, is the Cordoba that is furnishing the big block stuff for my
73 Charger.

There is a  pic of my Mom's old house on Google Earth from when I lived there. Haven't lived there since 1999. BUT my 73 Charger is sitting beside the house.

The pic I posted has my 73 Charger (you can see the Petty blue hood JUST poking out from under the big tree in front of the house) AND with the storage building and the Cordoba in the pic, it HAS to be here,  because it has been here MUCH longer than those two things!!!!

Here is her old house, the car BESIDE the house with the bright hood, that is the old 73!

The house number is one house off, it is the house on the right.

Nah, no hay...just overgrown grass. I brush hog it every couple of months. This is an older picture; I have gone maybe 30-50 feet back from where the yard ends/field starts. I check Google Earth every so often for the aerial view, and we added a pool 2 years ago, and they don't have it on there yet. I would like to eventually make it ALL yard, but I already spend 3+ hours a week mowing, so I'm not in a hurry. You're welcome to come on out and take as much as you want, though.  :icon_smile_big:

Ever since the most recent update, I can't get Google Earth to show the 3-D terrrain mode anymore.  That was the best thing about the old versions.

My place is already visable on the Google Street Maps. My garage door is slightly open and knowing what I am looking at I see two General Lees in my garage. Knowing that I can guesstimate it was taken sometime last year, most likely summer or early fall.

The cool thing was when I punched it in it had an image looking at my house from the front, i started goofin around and when I found my house again it was looking from the back. Weird. :shruggy:
Life isn't Father Knows Best anymore, it's a kick in the face on a saturday night with a steel toed grip kodiak work boot and a trip to the hospital all bloodied and bashed.....for reconstructive surgery. But, what doesn't kill us, makes us stronger, right?

I just drag 'em back to the State Nature Preserve and let the coyotes eat 'em...NO EVIDENCE!!  :D
