Olympus SP-570UZ Help

Ok my brand new camera arrived (after a while month of waiting damn customs) and for some stupid reason the memory cards wont click/lock into place and thus the camera cant read them. Just wondering if anyone else had this problem and fixed it so I dont have to worry about returning the blasted thing under warranty and wait another month for a replacement.

I found a forum with a q and a on that exact camera but the last reply was from 2 months ago and it was for a focusing problem.  Still might be worth a try though.

Also I couldn't find any issues with that exact problem you discuss while cruising through the web, maybe you just got a bad one.  Hopefully they make it right and the turnaround time isn't so bad.

Maybe call the tech department and maybe they can offer some assistance via tele.

I just bought that camera, I got 2 M+ 2 gig cards so I wont have to change them often. Haven't had much chance for picture taking though. Waiting for my ride on the B24 later this month.
