Only 5 miles away huh?  That would be REAL tough for me to handle......the car would have to go at least 2 states away for me not to have to see it at my local car show :rotz:

I agree.  I have 3 finished cars, and if any one of them were to be sold, I wouldn't want it anywhere near me because if I ever saw it again, I'd be kicking myself in the ass for letting it go.

I know how you feel.  I sold a beautiful old car to someone local once, and got to watch them destroy the car little by little. it was like slow torture.  I will never sell one local again.

Yes it is. I assume you have read my reasons for keeping the car. Plus, I don't recall asking anyones opinion or advise about selling the car. You gave an unasked for and uninformed opinion. You don't like it, then learn to keep your opinions to yourself. Just my  :Twocents:

While i hate to see any Charger sold sometimes finances and family obligations must take priority.  :yesnod:

There's also a new stroker build in your future so that should ease the pain.  ;)

Yep. That was one of the reasons selling became an option. I couldn't do anything to either car but keep them afloat. I really didn't have the money to rebuild the motor in the Bee, even a stock rebuild. I also needed to get a couple of spots on the outside of the car taken care of. Couldn't do that either. I need to redo the front seats of the Bee. Couldn't do that. Thus, the car just sat out back for 7 years. I needed to do something before it started really deteriorating.

Also, I just went to Mopars in the Park here in Minneapolis. I walked around the whole place and saw at least 10-15 69 Chargers. I did not see one 71 Dodge Charger Superbee. I think I will have a unique car to bring to the shows as well. All I know is that I am cool with the car being gone. It was fun while it lasted.
