are they street legal? do they last?

im considering replacing most of the windows in my 71 with this stuff.
if its street legal and strong enough to last a long time
looking for another one

That stuff scratches too easily so you'll never be able to clean it.  You'll have to get some 3m Final Cut and buff it out all the time.
Pretty tough stuff though but better for a race car IMHO.
