I was just watching the Seattle News. They showed footage of a '71 Charger on its roof on the highway. It was Hemi Orange with a black vinyl top and it had black R/T stripes!!!!  :o :'( Driver went to the hospital with minor injuries. They said alcohol was involved.

Looked ok. The trunklid, tailights etc seemed fine. The drivers door was open. The hood was open. There was steam..I dont think it was smoke. But there was roof damage for sure.

So why is it totaled?    :icon_smile_big: :nana:

Well, I assume they will total it. Especially since the a-pillars were most likely bent. It wasnt just sitting on its roof, chances are it got rolled over and got alot of damage from the rollover.

Nope, my one digital got stolen and my other has no battery charger and its dead. It was a quick 30 second thing. Maybe another one of the Washington members will chime in.

G-man

I know for 3-4000 the A pillar columns can get chopped (once propped up and supported so the car doesnt bend in half)

New roof, all welded back, like new.

Are you really interested in learning more about this wreck?

What channel were you watching - ABC, CBS, NBC or Fox?  Go to their web site and look over the local news stories for more details.

I am amazed at how many people drink and then climb behind the wheel of a car they have spent countless $ and time on :brickwall:
