My question is this .
I have a 69 charger with manual drums , i bought a new style master cylinder from someone on moparts . (brand new mopar part )
it is the plastic resivior with an alum. housing and an adaptor plate that just bolts up to the old studs on the firewall .
so far everything fits and hooks up fine , now i went to put the old rod from the pedal to the  new master , and my question is is it the correct  length . are there any adjustments or modifications needed .
i just seems to easy , it does not seem that the rod is adjustable . i remember the guy i got it from said it is a direct bolt in , but that was a long time ago , and i just want to be sure i have enough travel in the pedal and it is not too short .
if anyone did a swap like this let me know .  i have been loading up the board with questions about alot of different things but im real close to moving the car under its own power , first time since i got it .
i just want to thank everyone for all the help , insight and advise .
thanks
pete
.

Stick a wooden dowel, screwdriver, anything that fits into where the rod goes in the master and mark the length that it goes in, then compare it to the length of the rod.

You probably bought it off of my friend Rick.   He sells them on ebay also:  http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Mopar-Hi-Po-Lightweight-Alum-Dual-Master-Cyl-Adapter_W0QQitemZ280226637957QQihZ018QQcategoryZ34199QQssPageNameZWDVWQQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem

Yes it's true...  your manual pushrod is just fine.    I run the same setup...  I just paid more for it since I didn't get it from Rick.

Now go find a front disk conversion!
