Mopar Enthusiast Magazine did a re-enactment of the Vanishing Point run with the 2009 Challenger and a 70 Go Mango 426 Hemi Challenger. They came through Salt lake City and stopped at a dealership. I did this video of our part of the cruise.

We sure had a lot of fun. After we left LHM we headed south on I-15 and turned onto Bangeter. I rode in Mike's Challenger. I knew it was gonna be fun when we left the metering light. He certainly wasn't afraid to drive it. We played games Buchards white Hemi RR. The RR ran good but Mike's Challi sure is fast. We stopped at Holiday oil for the GoMango to fuel up. Of course the 2009 Challenger was there, Steve's silver Polara and three Challengers: Plum Crazy Hemi, Sublime Six Pack and the Go Mango Hemi. Everyone stopped, looked and took photos. You don't often see this kind of site. We stopped again at Reams and Barns and Noble. First a gal in a SUV stopped, then a couple in a cross fire. Again all kinds of photos were snapped. Mike did a great burn out. We were then off to Tooela. Richard Turesdell was hanging out the window and up through the sun roof snapping photos for Mopar Enthusiast and the website. He had to duck in for a State Trooper. At Tooela we had one more photo op. What fun it was.

That's a cool video Lee, thanks for posting that!
I bet it's pretty funny to see people's reactions.

The Aquamax...yes, this bike spent 2 nights underwater one weekend. (Not my doing), but it gained the name, and has since become pseudo-famous. :)

Hey Buzz, I didn't know you hung out on this site. I would suspect that Holley would. That was a great day. We all had so much fun. And it looks like you survived the rest of the cruise. I told Holley I would send him a copy of this video, plus our SLC to Vegas cruise and Mopars at the Strip. I have his address but not yours. My email is on my profile so send me your mailing address. I think I have video of Holley's Charger on the strip. I'll have to check to see if the Go Mango Hemi is in there. I suspect it is. It was great to meat you all. At a minimum we'll get together next year at MATS. I'll get the Charger down there one of these times. Holley talked about some other cruises that I'd love to do.

Thanks Lee & I sent you an email, too.  George's son, Lloyd produced a video from what we had & Rich posted it on www.automotivetraveler.com   as well as the driving impressions.
Chrysler placed an embargo on all driving impressions to give all the magazines a fair chance.  It was lifted today.  Rich did a fantastic job that shows the professional that he is.
Holly will be up here Fri & I'll show him your video.    Take care, Buzz
