Hey,
Yesterday i was trying to loosen the rod bolts on my 440 source H-beam rods and they will not break loose. Instructions say never use an air ratchet or impact gun to loosen, tighten or seat them.

How did you get them loose right out of the box?

Try clamping the rods in a vice with 2 pieces of wood to protect the beams. They should break free with a 1/2in drive ratchet.  :Twocents:

Title of this post scared me. I thought it was going to be about bolts backing out AFTER engine assembly.

Had me worried. I built a motor with a set of these.

Make sure you have a firefighter around with a set of big guns to crack em loose  :D :slap:

Seriously thats how we do mine, that way you won't mark them up.

Yep, Archemides is your best friend in this situation.
Pardon me but my karma just ran over your dogma.
