What sort of racing? a 6 speed box is probably not worth it for anything except high speed road racing

Shakey

Go with a 4 barrel carb instead.

ChgrSteve67

A 440 and a carb, and some form of weight redistribution and traction device, beefier tranny innerds, subframe connectors, beefy rear end with sure grip, and depending on how fast you want to go, battery relocation, 5 point harness, driveshaft hoop, onboard fire system, roll bar, scatter shield...the list goes on. Drag racing isn't cheap OR simple. You really need to get an NHRA rule book and study it. Ask questions in the race tech section and start reading MoparMuscle, MoparAction, MuscleCar Magazine, Hot Rod, etc... to find out about current race technology, parts, rules, etc... You might also need a dose of reality if you think you can EASILY get a Charger intom the 11's or 10's...nothing easy about it at all. Hope you keep with it, but just know it does require money, time and effort, and breaking parts is part of the game.

But don't think of it as breaking parts.  It's just isolating and eliminating the weak links under real world test conditions. :icon_smile_big:
Forget the 6 speed and dual carbs for drag racing.
