I want to adjust my rear brakes on my Dana 60. Do you move the stars up or down? I know there is a difference from side to side. This might be a dumb question but I forgot.

Just 6T9 CHGR

Just turn them till there is a drag on the wheel when spun by hand....either up or down which ever way makes them tighter to the drum

Since it is a dana, it's kind of hard. Both tires spin.

So does my 8¾...whats your point?  Do one wheel at a time (leave one on the ground)  Unless you have a spool?  :shruggy:
