If your just looking to lower it a little, you could just change your hanger boxes... They make boxes for both raising and lowering.

terrible one

Or just use lowering blocks

My buddy put a set of the Mopar Performance springs in his Charger and the rear end is way too far up in the air. It has all the stock hangers and such. It looks like it has come down a little over the past few weeks, but is still way too high.

Anybody ever tried to find an official published number for the stock original factory ride height in back?

I called around trying to get a specific figure for that one time a few years ago.  I couldn't find anything anywhere.  Not even the spring companies that sell stock-original-height spring sets knew what to tell me.

I finally resorted to looking at factory publicity pics of brand new B-bodies, and comparing the heights of the rocker panels to the center points of the rear wheels.

I've used that trick before   :yesnod:

I ordered my XHD springs from Summit, $103 apiece, plus Summit has awesome shipping rates, they just charge 11.95 Handling Charge for purchases over 100 and only 6.50 per spring oversize charge, I bought the springs and a few other items and total shipping was 24.95.

This is weird but my springs actually lifted my car almost an inch over the winter, as soon as I installed them last fall and test drove the car they settled almost an inch but somehow after driving it this spring I could swear my car looks higher in the back so I measured it and it definately is about an inch higher
