I think Im going to get the Foose Legends in 18x9 In the back and 17x8 in the front.

I really was hoping for a 10" wide rim in the back but foose doesnt make them that

big in that style.

Im still open for Ideas. I kinda wanted to do something different, but most the stuff

I like they dont make in the correct size.

Anyway what kind and size tires you guys think I should use.

Its for a 69 Charger.

Thanks!

The Other rims I like, but they dont make the correct sizes.

If you know of a rim that has about the same style and the right size,

Please let me know.

I agree. . . Nitto has the sizes you want at a reasonable price. You could go Dunlops or Goodrich but those get rather pricey. I just bought Nitto 555R 295 45 18 for my rears. A very nice tire, with a cool tread design.

I am thinking of going with those Foose wheels or the Coddington Junk Yard Dog ones.  Nice choice  :2thumbs:

2Gunz,
Check out this place for aftermarket wheels & tires:

http://www.newstalgiawheel.com/

I purchased my Foose wheels from them. I got them mounted on BFG G-Force KDW2's. Free mounting, balancing, shipping, & no sales tax, right to my door. Local wheel/tire places couldn't touch their prices. Ditto for the Tire Rack & eBay, when everything else was calculated in.
Their sales/tech staff was very knowledgable, & at the time my wheels were not available in 19's. They were able to get me 19's, & they're now posted on their website (I went with the Foose Challenger wheels).

Check 'em out, they might be able to help you. They carry a lot of Foose wheels in similar styles. The Nitrous II Polished is similar to the Legend, & comes in an 18 x 10!!

Good Luck!

2Gunz, have you contacted Foose and asked them to make a rim in the size you want?  I'm sure they can make what ever size you want.   :Twocents:

PocketThunder,
The Legend wheel is a ONE-PIECE cast wheel. They might not be able to make that one 10" wide.

Newstalgia Wheel carries a wide selection of aftermarket wheels, the majority for older classic cars & street rods. There are lots of wheels out there similar to the Foose Legend wheel.

2Gunz, give 'em a call & see what they have to say.  :2thumbs:

I agree on the Nitto NT555s, I have them also.  I got them from discounttiredirect.com, great customer service, prices, and fast shipping :2thumbs:
I have 235/45/ZR17s in front and 295/45/ZR18s in the back.  The rear tires are taller than my old BFG 275/60/15s by almost an inch.  Here's a few comparison shots:

I picked up a set of Centerline Soft Tails, I like them a lot:

I like those Foose wheels you're looking at also :2thumbs:

The Legends are a nice looking wheel. I sort of cheaped out on my rims on my 71 Cuda. I went with 17" Boyd Smoothies with Goodyear Eagle F1 GS D3's. Now I'm puttng them on my black 69 Charger and I'm hoping that they don't look too small. If they do, I'll have to start looking for something bigger. The biggest problem with the 18's and larger is you have to go with the big brakes or the whole thing looks ghetto. There's nothing worse looking than stock drums behind those beautiful rims. It never fails. Theres at least one at every car show.
At least it's good for a few laughs.

I might end up with these................

I cant seem to find a 18 x 10 Rim.

The ones I do find kinda suck or are a million dollars.

Im not really into the stud things, but ti might have to work.

GT

Check out Boyd Coddington wheels.  I'm thinking about using the Harm wheel in an 18"size - I will need customer barrels for a 12" wide rim for the back.  Plan on running 335/30-18's on the rear.  I have relocated my leaf springs in as well as added Minitubs.  I have 17" of width/clearance for rear tires.  :yesnod:

You can also look into Fikse or Kinesis wheels - but those are $1K ea  :o

Those Foose wheels are awesome - but I could not get them in 12" width.

The local Wheel shop here got both styles of the foose in for me to look at.

I hate the one with the rivit hole things in the side.  The regulars are very nice.

If your in Socal or just looking for Wheels you should try Anton at SaveOnWheels.com.

Hes really been putting in the extra effort to find me what Im looking for.

Anyway so it looks like Im going to End up with 18x9 in the back and 17x8 in the front.

I was going to do a 4.5 Backspace in the front and 5.0 in the back.

Should I change because I lost an inch or rim in the back?

Thanks Guys
